Sleat offers a huge range of activities for you to choose from. It has spectacular scenery from North to South.

Outdoor activities. Enjoy a choice of local boat trips, ranging from a peaceful trip to Loch Coruisk from Elgol or a thrilling action packed
Seafari whalespotting trip from Armadale. Isleornsay also has it's own Kayaking tuition centre at Skyak Adventures.
Skye is famous for hill walking, from a short coastal walk to a far more adventurous climb in the Cuillin Mountains. Skye also offers 2 golf courses.
Wildlife. Local wildlife includes: red deer, roe deer, otters and foxes. Skye's extensive birdlife includes golden eagles and the rare white-tailed sea eagle.
Off-shore, grey seals, common seals, porpoises, dolphins & even the occasional whale or basking shark can be seen.
Things for the children. Skye & Lochalsh have two of the best stocked toy shops in Scotland! Famous Toy Museum, Serpentarium, Horse Riding, Swimming Pools, Cinema and lots of wide open space!

Eating out. Isleornsay Hotel is within easy walking distance. Alternatively enjoy the other local hotels; Duisdale, Toravaig, Ardvasar
or "Lady Claire's" Kinloch Lodge. There are also numerous restaurants throughout Skye & Lochalsh.
History. Sleat is home to 3 castles. Dunscaith, Armadale & Knock Castle. Go a little further afield and you can explore Dunvegan or Eilean Donan Castle. Trace your ancestors at the Clan Donald Museum or just enjoy a walk around the grounds.
Culture. The World famous Sabhal
